Hi, my name is Megan McFadden. My oldest is going into fourth grade and my youngest will be in Kindergarten at Woodrow this year. We moved to the area from Chicago eight years ago. We enjoy spending time in the great outdoors as a family hiking and camping. I look forward to getting to know you all better this year as we move into a school year that will have lots of volunteer opportunities and fun filled events.
Hi, I am Laura Griebel. I am a Colorado native! My husband and I have two kids. My oldest is in second grade and my son is in Pre-Kindergarten. We love spending as much time outdoors. One of our favorite things to do is go kayaking. I am looking forward to this school year!
My husband Gavin and I live just down the road in The Pond with our 3 children; Azalea (4th), Winston (2nd), and Calliope (K).
I am originally from Springfield, VA, 15 miles south of Washington, DC and Gavin is from just outside London, in Amersham, UK. We have thrived in Colorado since 2007; Gavin as a seismologist and now senior science advisor for the USGS; and I spent 10 years as an environmental educator for JeffCo Open Space, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, as well as 5 years running Evergreen Nature Center for Evergreen Audubon.
I love helping WWA teachers grow their classrooms with discretionary funds raised during the PTO Fall Fun Run. In 2023/24, I am also starting nature club (working title), which will be a monthly opportunity for our conservation-minded Wildcats to pursue their natural interests. I have several volunteer jobs and thoroughly enjoy helping improve my communities.
